What to do from choosing a topic to the defence, with deadlines and templates.

Choose a topic
Pick a topic you like from the list of available topics on the website and send an online request. If you have your own topic, agree on it with a supervisor and propose it.

Approval of topic and supervisor
The topic and supervisor are reviewed and approved at a department meeting. You will receive the decision by email.

Work plan
Agree with your supervisor on the structure of the thesis (chapters), the core reading list and the deadline for each stage.

Research and progress reviews
Report to your supervisor regularly. The department holds progress reviews on set dates.

Formatting and originality check
The thesis is formatted to department requirements and checked with anti-plagiarism software.

Pre-defence
The thesis goes through a pre-defence at the department; a review is obtained and shortcomings are fixed.

Final defence
The thesis is defended before the State Final Attestation Commission.
