The topic is discussed at a department meeting and approved through the established procedure.

Set out the research plan, methods and semester deadlines with your supervisor.

Research and publishing results
You carry out the research; as the department requires, results are published as an article or conference abstract.

Progress reports
Each semester you report on the work done to the department.

Formatting, checks and review
The dissertation is formatted to requirements, passes an originality check and is sent for external review.

Pre-defence and final defence
After a pre-defence at the department, the dissertation is defended before the State Final Attestation Commission.
